Biomass News 2014

Steve Dalton has recently become a fully accredited MCS and NICEIC registered biomass installer for undertaking domestic and commercial installations. Being based in Cumbria he sees a great potential for getting people to switch to cleaner efficient energy sources to reduce fuel poverty, generate steady guaranteed income to pay off the capital costs and also help the environment.

His services include the specification and design of optimised biomass systems which include all types of wood gasification boilers including all solid wood, pellets and wood chips up to 45kW capacity. All of the installations are carefully designed and installed, to suit your heat load requirements and can be integrated with other technologies including solar thermal and ground source hear pumps in a modular way. Systems can be metered for receiving RHI tariff or unmetered which rely on EPC or CIBSE heat load calculations.

Most systems normally include large accumulator tanks to provide an efficient and effective thermal store, and tend to replace or can complement oil or gas boilers or expensive electric heating systems. Completely new installations for new build can also be specified, designed and installed. All systems designed and installed are biomass RHI tariff fit for receiving either the domestic or commercial rate for the 7 or 20 year terms.

So a biomass system can earn you good money, with ROI's well over 20%, and so greatly reduce your energy bills, eradicate fuel poverty, and also help reduce emissions (as they are carbon neutral). So if you would like a free no obligations discussion and site visit followed by a detailed quotation that is fully backed by RECC for peace of mind, then give me a call or drop me an email of your requirements.

My own system which includes an Eco Angus Orligno 200 40kW solid wood boiler and 3000 litre accumulator tanks to provide CH and HW can be inspected. Total typical project costs will vary between £12k to over £20k+ depending upon system requirements with payback in as little as 4 years!
